Two new recipes back to back?! Starting the #NewYearNewMe thing a few days early this year 😉
I’ve decided that I want to start making more of my own snacks, dressings, sauces, etc. One thing I always have in the fridge is hummus. And (I’m not sure how) it just dawned on me that I can, and should be, making this at home instead of buying it at the store.
Yesterday I also made my own fresh pressed juice, and on Saturday I’m going to be making beet chips! Be on the lookout for those two new recipes as well ❤
Ingredients
-1 can chickpeas
-1/2 Cup fresh basil
-1/2 Cup parsley leaves
-1/4 Cup fresh tarragon
-1 clove garlic
-2 Tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
Directions
-Drain & rinse chickpeas
-Place all of the ingredients in a food processor & blend until smooth
-If the mixture is too thick, add 1 Tablespoon of water, and then blend again *I did this twice*
-Serve with pretzels, crackers, fresh vegetables, bread, or use it on sandwiches 🙂
XOXO
