This recipe comes from my ‘Oh She Glows Everyday‘ Cookbook and this sauce has quickly become one of my favorites. I have made it several times already without realizing I had’t shared it with y’all yet. So far I’ve only served this sauce with soba/udon noodles, tofu meatballs, & greens ( which is a killer combination ) , but I’d be open to other suggestions for what else to pair this amazing sauce with! Oh, & I usually always double this recipe . . . because when don’t I?
Ingredients
-1 large or 2 small cloves garlic
-2 – 3 teaspoons grated fresh ginger, to taste
-3/4 Cup smooth almond butter
-3 – 4 Tablespoons fresh lime juice, to taste
-2 Tablespoons tamari or coconut aminos, or more to taste
-3 – 4 1/2 teaspoons maple syrup, to taste
-2 – 6 Tablespoons water, as needed to thin
Directions
-In a food processor, process the garlic until finely chopped
-Add the rest of the ingredients & process until smooth. Add the water to thin the sauce to your desired consistency – start with 2 Tablespoons & work from there. The sauce will keep in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 10 days
